Case Study: Courier Mail
Our client, Courier Mail had an immediate and ongoing training requirement for their staff. This was due to the refit of a new printing press imported from Germany. Due to the size and height of the machinery being installed, the scope was to ensure all staff were equipped with the right licences to work in and around the machine.
The license they sort were licence to operate a forklift truck, working at heights and elevating work platform + 11 metres. With 15-20 staff being armed with the right licenses and training, Courier Mail were able do the internal work on the machinery themselves using existing staff and did not need to hire external contractors which saved them time and money. The training was delivered on site and continues to be carried out on site.
